TedX is well reputed for sharing inspirational stories and knowledge by some of the brightest and influential minds in the world. So, Cosmo Crew were certainly pinching themselves when they were asked to support the TedX Tin Hau Women Hong Kong event on Friday 30 November 2018.
The theme of the day was 'Showing Up Now', and this was communicated through a carefully curated selection of remarkable female speakers, and a series of market place zones of ethical and conscious brands.
Cosmo Crew were asked to be part of the Creativity Zone to share how we make kids' swimwear and base layers from recycled materials. Other brands included ethically and sustainably sourced jewellery, niin, organic skincare ranges and not-for-profit organisations who teach domestic helpers and under-privileged children to swim Splash.
Attendees on the day were moved to tears with speaker stories about mental health, starting a movement about standing up for women’s rights, ground-breaking cancer research, gender identity rights, and how children can be leaders in social impact. Check out these TedX Tin Hau Women speakers online!
