FROM OCEAN WASTE TO ECO FASHIONCosmo Crew products are designed to support fun-loving, mischievous adventures in the sun, sea and snowy climates. From our products to our packaging, Cosmo Crew is striving to minimise our environmental footprint by using recycled materials and ensuring our products are made ethically. We are proud to engage local Balinese tailors whom we work closely with to ensure a fair partnership. Aside from our some of our Beach Shorts, which are made from 100% organic cotton, Cosmo Crew products are created with Italian Carvico, which is a combination of Econyl and elastane. Econyl is a sustainable fabric made from recycled fibres such as ghost fishing nets and plastic bottles recovered from our oceans. We also use other sustainable fabrics like Reprove and Kira. Our products provide UPF 50+ sun protection and are resistant to chlorine, sand, sunscreens and oils. The fabric is super soft with less pilling as it is 20% flatter than other elastanes. |
